Roses are the embodiment of romantic love: widely pervasive in poetry, literature and just about every religion’s lexicon of symbol: in every geographical location since biblical times. A rose just seems to be the perfect metaphor for love: the utter beauty of the flower and the protection insured by of its thorns.
