Nambé Tree of Life Mezuzah – 5″ Alloy Case | Zion Lion

A Tree of Life mezuzah case by Nambé, designed by Marilyn Davidson. The tree is drawn in a clean, minimal form on a 5-inch case made of Nambé alloy.

It is sold as a case only. A kosher scroll (klaf) is bought separately and placed inside before the mezuzah goes up.

For a designer alternative in the same symbol, see the Michael Aram Tree of Life Mezuzah, or the full range at Mezuzot.

FAQs

Does this mezuzah come with a scroll?

No. It is a case only. The scroll (klaf) is what makes a mezuzah kosher, so buy it from a trusted source and place it inside before you fix the case.

Where do I put a mezuzah on the door?

On the right-hand doorpost as you walk in, in the upper third of the post. Ashkenazi custom tilts the top towards the room; Sephardi custom hangs it upright.

How do I clean a Nambé mezuzah?

Hand wash and dry it straight away, as the maker's care note says.

Is it a good housewarming gift?

Yes. A mezuzah case is a common gift for a new home. Pair it with a scroll so the family can put it up the day they move in.
